Lab Interpretation

Expert analysis and plain‑language explanation of laboratory data.

Telemedicine Consultations

Scheduled video visits to discuss findings and next steps.

Note: All services are delivered electronically; no in‑person visits occur unless separately arranged.

3. Account Registration & Responsibilities

Account Creation

You may need to register and provide accurate personal information.

Credentials

You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

Accuracy of Information

You warrant that all information and medical records you upload are complete, accurate, and not forged or tampered with.

4. Payments, Billing & Refunds

Fees

Service fees are displayed at purchase (e.g. $25 for a second opinion). All fees are in USD unless otherwise indicated.

Payment Method

Payments processed via PCI‑compliant gateways (e.g. PayPal). We do not store full payment card details.

Refunds

Requests for refunds must be made within 7 days of purchase. We review each on a case‑by‑case basis.

5. User Content & Medical Records

Your Data: You retain ownership of all medical records and personal data you upload.
License: By uploading, you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty‑free license to use that data solely to provide the Service and improve our platform.
Privacy & Security: We handle your data under our Privacy Policy in strict compliance with HIPAA and industry standards.

6. Intellectual Property

Our Content: All text, graphics, logos, and software on the site are owned or licensed by My Private Doctor and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
Restrictions: You may view and download content for personal, non‑commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

Not a Substitute: Our second opinions and lab interpretations are educational and informational. They do not replace an in‑person clinical evaluation or emergency care.
No Guarantees: We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or efficacy of any medical advice. Always follow your local physician's recommendations in urgent situations.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, My Private Doctor and its affiliates, officers, employees, or agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the six months prior to the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless My Private Doctor and its affiliates from any claim, demand, loss, or damage (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of:

  • Your violation of these Terms or applicable law
  • Your use of the Service in a manner not authorized by these Terms

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access—without notice—for any conduct we deem a violation of these Terms or harmful to other users or our operations.

Upon termination, all licenses granted herein will immediately cease.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles. Any dispute arising hereunder shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Wilmington, DE under the American Arbitration Association's rules, except as otherwise required by applicable law.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
